February turned out to be especially exciting for sports fans. Last night, the opening ceremony of the Milan–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics captured global attention. But it was just as compelling for fashion lovers. The event once again highlighted the strong connection between sport and high fashion, turning the stadium into a runway, where athletes stepped into the role of models to present their country’s culture, tradition, and style.

In this article, we take a closer look at the most outstanding and memorable uniforms of the 2026 Winter Olympics.

As expected, the United States team appeared in uniforms designed by Ralph Lauren. Many consider this to be one of the designer’s strongest Olympic collections to date. Inspired by the colors of the national flag, the elegant looks were described by the brand as a symbol of strength, optimism, and endurance.

Brazil’s delegation arrived at the Winter Games dressed by the Italian brand Moncler. The uniforms were dominated by green, blue, and white tones, a clear reference to the Brazilian flag. The result was a fresh and energetic look that stood out despite the winter setting.

Canada’s team uniforms were created by Lululemon, with a strong focus on the national flag colors. Red and white tones defined the collection, perfectly matched with functional designs made for cold weather. The main message behind the looks was practicality combined with versatility.

For Great Britain, the brand Ben Sherman designed the official team outfits. Inspired by the Union Jack, the collection reflected the country’s classic and refined style. A special detail was the accessories-scarves and hats-designed by Olympic athlete Tom Daley, adding a personal and symbolic touch.

France’s delegation appeared in retro-inspired uniforms created by Le Coq Sportif. The use of blue, white, and red directly referenced the national flag. The collection captured the essence of French elegance, combining heritage with modern sportswear.

Mongolia’s uniforms, created in collaboration with the brand Goyol, became one of the biggest highlights of the opening ceremony. Inspired by traditional robes, with high collars and side slits, the designs quickly became audience favorites. It was a true cultural statement that blended naturally into the Olympic setting.

Finally, the host country Italy was represented in uniforms by Emporio Armani’s sports line, EA7. Defined by minimalist aesthetics, the collection reflected Italian elegance and once again emphasized the country’s deep connection to high fashion.
