A new chapter begins in the history of NARGIS magazine. Now, with issue N13, the magazine is entering a new stage of editorial development, offering its audience a bilingual publication in an international format.

Tako Chkheidze and Ulvyya Mahmud

The latest issue was created with the involvement and support of NARGIS founder and visionary, Ulviyya Mahmud. At her invitation, Barcelona hosted the launch of this new phase for N13 Georgia – a city that, with its inspiration and contemporary outlook, perfectly reflects the renewed direction of the magazine.

” This new vision allows N13 to expand its horizons and share the essence of Georgian culture and fashion not only with a local audience but also with a global readership. This marks the beginning of a significant journey through which the Georgian perspective will earn a distinctive place in the international media landscape”.- Nino Diasamidze, Executive Director of N13.

“N13 – now a bilingual publication – began its journey in Barcelona, where we celebrated the launch of our magazine’s new visual identity. The evening, which I had been eagerly awaiting, was hosted by our great supporter and the Editor-in-Chief of NARGIS Magazine, Ulviyya Mahmud. I would like to thank her for her continued support. As for us, we’ll meet in Tbilisi, where we’ll celebrate the presentation of the new issue with a grand event.” – Tako Chkheidze, Editor-in-Chief of N13 Georgia.

As part of the Barcelona launch, a special evening was held at the historic Palau Dalmases, organized by NARGIS magazine. The event was dedicated to the presentation of the unique book “Əlifba. A Cultural Alphabet.”

Guests had the opportunity to experience the uniqueness of the book firsthand, explore the art installation “Welcome to Baku” by artist Rashad Alakbarov, view the animated documentary “History in Letters,” enjoy Azerbaijani cuisine, and see an exhibition of traditional costumes.

A special highlight of the event was a crystal sculpture that showcased the evening’s central piece — the book “Əlifba. A Cultural Alphabet.” The sculpture carried a symbolic meaning of purity, values, and culture, making it all the more distinctive. The evening was musically enriched by performances from Etibar Asadli and Shahriyar Imanov. It is also worth noting that the book is intended for both children and young adults, and it beautifully captures the journey of the Azerbaijani alphabet.
