In a digital world filled with fast-moving trends and ever-changing aesthetics, building a personal visual identity is perhaps the hardest part. Yet one look at the social media of blogger and influencer Tami Lolishvili makes one thing clear: her style feels consistent, effortless, and unmistakably her own. Defined by understated minimalism, a balance between masculine and feminine silhouettes, and a neutral colour palette, her aesthetic stands out without trying too hard.

In conversation with N13, Tami shares the thinking behind her summer wardrobe, explains how she mixes tailored and soft silhouettes, why black remains her favourite colour even during the hottest months, and what she looks for when choosing accessories and fragrance.

How did your personal style develop? What has influenced it the most, and how would you describe it in three words?

My style developed naturally over the years. As time passed, I realised I feel most comfortable in minimalist clothing, often with masculine elements. My biggest influence has always been my love for fashion. Today, I know exactly what suits me, so I no longer feel the need to constantly chase every new trend. If I had to describe my style in three words, they would be: minimalist, refined, and authentic.

How much do you think your everyday wardrobe reflects your personality and mood?

A lot. I naturally gravitate towards calm colours and clothes that make me feel confident and comfortable. I don’t enjoy outfits with too many details, so I always choose simple pieces that work well together. For me, style is more than appearance- it’s a way of expressing myself. Every morning, I dress according to how I feel that day.

Your wardrobe often combines structured tailoring, oversized masculine pieces, and softer feminine silhouettes. How do you balance these contrasts, and what shapes do you wear most during summer?

I love mixing masculine and feminine elements. I often wear oversized blazers with strong shoulders and wide-leg trousers, then pair them with softer, more feminine details. I think that contrast creates the most balanced and interesting looks. The most important thing is that when I look in the mirror, I feel like I’m looking at myself.

During summer, I prefer relaxed silhouettes, but I never give up my oversized blazers. I often wear them with shorts and heels- that combination has become one of my signature looks.

Black appears in many of your outfits, even during summer. Many people avoid wearing it in warm weather. How do you make black feel seasonally appropriate?

Black is definitely my favourite colour, and I believe it works in every season. During summer, everything depends on the fabric and the silhouette. If the material is lightweight and breathable and the cut is relaxed, black feels effortless and perfect for warm weather. I also love pairing it with gold jewellery, which makes the look feel even more elegant.

Which fashion houses or designers feel closest to your personal style? Whose collections do you usually look at for inspiration?

I wouldn’t say I follow every collection closely, but the brands that feel most aligned with my style are Saint Laurent, The Row, and Balenciaga. I often browse their collections, and I almost always find something that speaks to me and fits naturally into my own aesthetic.

Your wardrobe is built around neutral and monochrome shades- white, beige, brown, and black. Do you experiment with brighter colours during summer, or do you stay loyal to your usual palette?

I mostly stay loyal to my favourite neutral colours, even in summer. I believe white, beige, brown, and black work beautifully all year round. If I experiment, I usually do it through accessories or different textures rather than bold colours. I like having a wardrobe where everything can be mixed and matched easily.

Summer often gives us more freedom with accessories. Are there pieces you only wear during this season?

Definitely. I enjoy accessories even more during summer. I wear bold gold jewellery more often, silk scarves, and sunglasses in different shapes. At the same time, I still want everything to feel clean and refined. For me, accessories should complete a look rather than become its main focus.

Sunglasses are clearly an essential part of your everyday style. What shapes do you prefer, and do your choices change with the seasons?

Sunglasses are one of my most important accessories. Sometimes they completely transform an outfit. I especially like Balenciaga eyewear because the shapes suit my personal style perfectly. I rarely change the silhouettes depending on the season. What matters most is that the frames fit both my style and my face.

What does your ideal summer fragrance smell like? Do you prefer fresh citrus notes or richer niche scents?

Without a doubt, niche fragrances. I absolutely love them. For me, the most important thing is that a perfume reflects my personality and my mood, no matter the season.

Finally, what advice would you give to someone who is still discovering their personal style and wants to feel confident this summer?

The first thing I would say is: trust your own taste and don’t feel pressured to follow every trend. Personal style takes time to develop, and the most important thing is that it reflects who you are. During summer, well-made, comfortable basics often have much more impact than outfits overloaded with details. When you’re wearing something that genuinely feels right, that confidence naturally shows.
