Organized by ExpoGeorgia, Tbilisi Art Fair 2026 has officially opened and will welcome visitors from May 21 to May 24. The opening ceremony took place on May 21 at 2 PM in Hall 11. From May 22 to 24, art lovers will be able to explore the fair daily from 12 PM until 8 PM.

Since its launch in 2018, TAF has established Georgia as an important destination on the international contemporary art scene. This year, the fair once again hosts leading collectors, curators, critics, and representatives of influential institutions including Museum of Modern Art, New Museum, Centre Pompidou, Tate and Sotheby’s.

The 2026 edition of the fair is spread across different pavilions at ExpoGeorgia, offering visitors a complete cultural experience.

Hall 11 hosts the fair’s main exhibition space, dedicated to local and international galleries, cultural institutions, and partner organizations. The pavilion also presents TAF Collector’s Choice, a curated selection of standout works shown across the fair.

In Hall 5 and the Orangery, visitors can discover HIVE, an independent artists’ platform focused on emerging Georgian and international creatives. The same space also hosts TAF TALKS × SOLO, where Georgian and international curators, collectors, journalists, and cultural professionals discuss the current state of the art market.

Hall 3 presents THE MOTHER PILLAR I, a multidisciplinary project by Levani and invited artists. The pavilion also features KERA, an exhibition organized by IDAAF LAB, with works by Nana Zaalishvili, Tako Bezhanishvili, Mariam Khvedelidze, Ana Eloshvili, Nino Karsanidze, and Nita Mtsituridze. The space also includes design projects and a fashion-focused section.

In Hall 4, visitors can see HUMAN ACTS, a group exhibition curated by Irina Popiashvili and Giorgi Miminoshvili. Hall 6 hosts the photography exhibition COMMON PLACES, curated by Fernando Peracho and Eric Schlosser, alongside ALL THAT MATERIAL CULTURE, a project exploring Soviet Georgian graphic design from the 1950s to the 1990s. At the same time, the Orangery and Hall 5 present HERIO × OBJECT HUNTING, a project by Max Machaidze. On Friday, May 22, Hall 3 will host a special Reception Program. The evening begins with a reception at 6 PM, followed by a project presentation at 7 PM and a screening by IDAAF LAB at 7:30 PM. At 8 PM, guests will attend the GOD ERA fashion show, while the evening will close with a live performance by VAZHMARR at 8:30 PM. On May 23, Hall 3 will host the IDAF Lab Talk and Levani & Invited Artists Talk. Later that evening, at 8:30 PM, Art Foundation Anagi will hold a special reception.

TAF’s cultural program also extends beyond the ExpoGeorgia grounds. From May 20, Rooms Hotel Tbilisi presents a special project by French artist Denis Darzacq. On Thursday, May 21, a gala evening will also take place at Honore starting from 9 PM.
