From May 21 to 24, 2026, the exhibition center ExpoGeorgia will host the international contemporary art fair, Tbilisi Art Fair (TAF). Organized by ExpoGeorgia in partnership with SOLO, the event aims to connect the art scenes of the Caucasus, Central, and Eastern Europe with the global creative landscape, creating a space for cultural dialogue and exchange.

This year’s edition stands out for its scale, bringing together 35 galleries and curatorial platforms. A special focus is placed on the independent artists section, The Hive, where 42 artists from 8 countries will present their works, including 31 Georgian and 11 international participants. Visitors will also have the opportunity to discover works by internationally recognized artists such as Pentti Sammallahti, Masao Yamamoto, and Kristoffer Albrecht.

The parallel program of TAF 2026 will feature a range of exhibitions and installations. Pavilion 3 will present Levan Mindiashvili’s multifunctional public sculpture “Dedabodzi I,” inspired by Georgian cosmology and cultural memory. In Pavilion 4, the Free University School of Visual Arts, Architecture and Design (VA[A]DS) will host the graduate exhibition Human Acts, exploring human existence and perception through different artistic mediums.

This year’s educational program focuses on the theme of collecting. As part of SOLO X TAF Talks, taking place in Pavilion 5 (the Orangery), curators and collectors will discuss the transformation of private collections, their influence, and strategies for preservation in unstable social and political environments. Meanwhile, Pavilion 6 will host the international group exhibition Commonplaces, alongside the archival research project All That Material Culture, dedicated to Georgian industrial graphic design from the 1950s to the 1990s. As part of the film program, Amirani Cinema will screen Didier Martin’s documentary The Sniper Artists.

Visitors will be able to attend the fair from May 21 to 24, between 12 PM and 8 PM. The official opening is scheduled for May 21 at 5 PM, while tickets will be available both online through Biletebi.ge and the fair’s official website, as well as at the venue.
