Milan Fashion Week is end. Since September 23, we have seen the Spring/Summer 2026 collections from international houses such as Dolce & Gabbana, Bottega Veneta, Ferragamo, Versace, Prada, Max Mara, Jil Sander, Emporio Armani, Fendi and more. Each show made clear which fabrics, colors and styles will be important next season.

Among the highlights was Dolce & Gabbana, where the mood was “bedroom style.” Models wore striped pajamas with crystals, sheer robes and bold silhouettes. Shoes also made an impact, from elegant heels to playful fluffy slippers. The most talked-about moment came when Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci appeared as Miranda Priestly and Nigel.

Perhaps the loudest show was Versace, with the debut of Dario Vitale. His collection, shown at Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, invited guests to “dress with attitude.” The result: short dresses with open backs, colorful jeans, daring prints and the brand’s signature gold details. Reactions were mixed – some said it was “not Versace,” while others loved the new energy.

At Bottega Veneta, Louise Trotter presented her first collection as creative director. Inspired by Laura Braggiotti, the first woman to lead the house, Trotter’s designs combined elegance with minimalism. Classic shapes, asymmetric cuts, soft textures and, of course, Bottega’s leather defined the show.

Ferragamo, designed by Maximilian Davis, looked to 1920s Hollywood. Rich textures, bold prints and a palette of gold, brown, white and grey gave a modern twist to vintage glamour.

Prada, by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, went in a different direction: practical and simple clothes with clean silhouettes. Neutral tones like grey and beige met strong accents of red, pink and green.

Max Mara reworked Rococo elegance for modern life, while Jil Sander’s new creative director Simone Bellotti pushed the brand’s minimalism into fresh territory with sharp tailoring and light fabrics.

The Emporio Armani show was deeply emotional – the first after the death of Giorgio Armani. The collection carried his signature elegance, with soft pastel tones. At the end, designer’s sister appeared on stage.

Finally, Fendi closed with color and playfulness. Silvia Venturini Fendi mixed classic tailoring with sporty details, presenting bright skirts and jackets that captured the brand’s love of texture and bold combinations.
