They invited TV host and sound therapist Lika Evgenidze to the brand’s international event, where she explored the new product launch and experienced its effects firsthand. In an interview with Nargis Magazine, she shares her impressions.


What was the overall atmosphere of the event like?

The atmosphere was truly magical. The event took place at Six Senses Ibiza, set on a cliff with a stunning sea view. The space was filled with ocean energy – soft yet powerful at the same time. La Mer always knows how to create an environment where beauty and nature meet. It felt harmonious and unforgettable.


Which activity stood out the most for you?

The whole week felt like an adventure, almost like a game. Every day, after room service, we would find a new product placed somewhere in the room. These small surprises added a special charm to the experience.
The laboratory workshop was also memorable. We were shown how the iconic Miracle Broth™ is created and given rare access to processes usually kept behind the scenes. I was especially interested to learn how sound, vibration, and light play a key role in skincare creation. The final evening exceeded all expectations – warm, emotional, and the perfect ending to the week.


Which new product did La Mer present at the event?

The main launch was The New Lip Treatment. It softens, soothes, and gives the lips a natural glow, with a beautiful texture. It’s perfect for travel and easy to use every day. I also loved the renewed version of The Lip Balm, which is now even more gentle, calming, and hydrating. This product was waiting for me in a special package with my initials on it. Both The New Lip Treatment and The Lip Balm are available at Academy Group partner stores across the Caucasus region.


How do beauty and sound therapy connect?

Today, it’s clear that beauty is no longer only about external care. It starts with harmony between mind and soul – balancing energy and calming the nervous system so beauty can come from within. When beauty comes from inside, it lasts, and the skin looks healthier too. La Mer’s philosophy follows this idea closely. The brand offers a deep, almost meditative self-care experience. Integrating sound therapy into their space felt natural and meaningful.


Why is La Mer an important brand for you, and what role does it play in your routine?

La Mer has a very strong aesthetic culture – from packaging to textures. As someone connected to visual and holistic practices, this matters a lot to me. For me, La Mer is not just skincare.
