Auto journalist and internationally recognized model Callum Mullin, known for his work with Dior, Porsche, and other global brands, recently visited Georgia. Mullin is part of a new generation of creatives who find a natural balance between classic aesthetics and technological progress. For this reason, his trip was not just a standard tourist route, but a personal attempt to experience a country where ancient traditions and modern energy blend so organically.

Callum appeared as a guest on Giorgi Iashvili’s podcast UNFILTERED, where he spoke openly about his Georgian journey, sharing his impressions honestly and without filters.

The podcast covered a wide range of topics, from changes in his career to nostalgic memories of his first car. Still, the most engaging part of the conversation was his “Georgian adventure.”

Although Callum is a frequent guest at some of the world’s best restaurants, Georgian cuisine made a strong impression on him. Among traditional dishes, he especially highlighted khinkali as his favorite.

Callum Mullin: My favorite was khinkali – with meat, vinegar, and a lot of garlic. The way you eat it is not very glamorous, though. I was told that khinkali must be eaten by hand, with the juice inside, and that using a knife and fork is considered disrespectful.

As a detail-oriented creative, Mullin paid special attention to the history of Georgian wine.

Callum Mullin: Here’s what you need to know about Georgian wine – Georgia is one of the oldest countries in the world where wine was first created. At the beginning, it was stored in containers made from animal skin. Later, a noble figure, whose estate we visited, introduced the tradition of bottling wine.

During the podcast, Callum also admitted that constant travel and a busy schedule require a lot of energy, which is why he plans to change his priorities this year.

Callum Mullin: I need to travel less because it has become exhausting. For the past two years, I’ve been constantly on the move. When it comes to rest, I believe everyone should experience real holidays at least once in a while, and I haven’t had that yet. I’m also planning new projects that will require strong creative involvement from me.

In the interview, Mullin noted that Georgia left a much deeper impression on him than just beautiful locations. He even tried pronouncing a few Georgian words and jokingly confirmed to Giorgi Iashvili that “madloba” (thank you) is now part of his vocabulary. His visit once again shows that Georgia, with its authenticity and strong sense of hospitality, is becoming one of the most attractive destinations for global figures.

As the podcast host, Giorgi Iashvili notes that this episode marks an important starting point for his future plans.

Giorgi Iashvili: “Porsche and Silk Hospitality supported me in bringing Callum to Georgia. With this episode, a new and global chapter of my podcast begins. Unlike many other podcasts, we aim to offer our audience international guests, stories from major global events, and many surprises. Most importantly, we want to introduce the Georgian voice and traditions to a worldwide audience.”
