Paris Fashion Week Ended Last Night with the Chanel Show. This season, we saw collections from major fashion houses such as YSL, Tom Ford, Chanel, Dior, Loewe, Balenciaga, Valentino, and more. Paris Fashion Week is always awaited with great interest, but this year the expectations were even stronger and more emotional. Many exciting debuts took place: Matthieu Blazy presented his first collection for Chanel, Jonathan Anderson officially took over Dior, and Pier Paolo Piccioli gave Balenciaga a fresh perspective. Today, we want to share the best shows of Paris Fashion Week – those that captured both fashion lovers’ and critics’ hearts.

Where to start if not with Chanel? Yes, Matthieu Blazy’s debut is undoubtedly one of the most important of the season, showing that the French fashion house is in safe hands. Blazy created a grand spectacle that carried the spirit of both Karl Lagerfeld and Coco Chanel. His collection began with practical, everyday pieces and ended with unique dresses. Among the luxurious fabrics, tweed – an inseparable part of the brand – was, of course, present.

Subjectively speaking, the second place goes to Tom Ford and Haider Ackermann’s latest collection. It was one of the most striking shows of Paris Fashion Week. A perfect combination of unique fabrics and colors, architectural silhouettes, and distinctive accessories – Haider Ackermann succeeded in creating one of Tom Ford’s most memorable collections.

In our personal ranking, the third place belongs to Anthony Vaccarello and Saint Laurent’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Many agree that Vaccarello is one of the best designers of modern fashion, and every collection he creates is a work of art. This season was no exception. YSL’s latest collection showed both strong silhouettes and delicate fabrics. The show unfolded in three acts: first, the brand’s signature strong shapes; second, sheer fabrics; and third, soft, feminine silhouettes – a perfect example of a woman’s transformation, where freedom and sensuality merge.

If you ask which show was the most discussed this season, many would say Dior and Jonathan Anderson’s debut. It sparked mixed reactions. Some felt Anderson’s vision did not match Dior, while others were inspired by the new approach. His debut combined archival elements with a strong modern interpretation: deconstructed shapes, denim skirts, and simple fabric combinations. This is unusual for Dior, but innovation is essential – sometimes even vital.

Loewe presented its debut collection under Jack Mccollough and Lázaro Hernández. The clothes clearly reflected Loewe’s energy, with perfect combinations of graphic elements, bright colors, and rich textures. Their latest collection showed the Spanish character of the brand in a striking way.

Another debut happened at Balenciaga, where Pier Paolo Piccioli presented the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, titled Heartbeat. It honored the brand’s past while expressing love and emotion through playful shapes, bright colors, and soft, romantic details. Piccioli presented classic Balenciaga silhouettes in a new interpretation, giving fashion lovers a truly interesting debut.

Alessandro Michele presented a light and delicate collection for Valentino. The Spring/Summer 2026 show was dominated by soft fabrics, silk dresses, voluminous blouses, beads, and embroidery. Michele once again proved that he expresses emotion in clothing better than anyone else.
